I feel like something big heading toward my way. Something wonderful. Something possibly either life changing or just a needed improvement. Atleast thats what I hope. After the disaster last week was, I need something amazing to happen.

Anyway, I'm no longer doing landscaping. I work for the same company, but I have a much easier and better job. It is a slacker's dream job. Which is perfect for me, because I'm not trying to concentrate on work. I need to get stuff written. My goal is to get a movie written by the end of the summer and if at all possible, shoot it. That is a long shot, but I'm willing to aim for it.

Wow, how long have I been talking about writing this short movie? It's been about 2 or 3 weeks since I started on "Deadly Delivery" and I only have five pages written. Thats probably about five minutes of screen time. Either I'm really that unmotivated, lazy, and undiciplined in writing or I am bored with the idea of this movie already. I've started it so I might as well finish it. Today I wrote the fifth page and made some other changes in the script. I felt kind of stupid about a part I wrote. I had the female run to her bathroom to look at herself for no reason. She's not really supposed to be a vain charcter considering I'm not going to go that deep in the characters with this short film. The idea of writing and directing a movie gives me a very good feeling. I feel like a puppeteer. I get to control the actions of people and the outcome of people's (imaginary) lives. It's kind of like playing God.

Yes, my evil plan is comming together. Soon you shall all be my puppets!!!

I haven't felt great lately. I feel like I'm not doing enough yet I also feel like I am doing too much. Work isn't going that great either. I do like working there but I refuse to be around the stoners while they have their drugs on them and/or while they're doing them. I don't like the idea of doing drugs nor do I like the idea of being around people who could potentially get arrested and somehow drag me into it.

To fix this dilemma of mine, I an going to apply at MovieStop. Hopefully I'll be able to get a job there. I mean, I don't see how I'm not qualified for a job like that. Hell, I probably know more about movies there than the people who work there. I do know how to make a movie and all. That should give me some kind of credit.

Progress on writing my movie is going very slowly. I only have a page and a half written. I'm not diciplined enough for writing yet. I need to acutally attempt to rid myself of some distractions so I can do alot more writing. I am very eager to film something and the only way I'm going to get to do that is if I write something myself. It all depends upon me I suppose.

I think this is as personal as this journal shit is going to get.

This weekend wasn't so bad. Friday me, David, and Billy had to make our own pictures for an English project dealing with pre-WWII Germany. It was quite fun since we took some rediculous pictures and I dressed as both a jew and Hitler. Later on Squid and I went to Bring Popcorn. They finally got to show "Save The Green Planet". I can sum up that movie into one word: WOW!
This movie exceeded my expectations. I knew it was a South Korean movie with one of the stars from Sympathy For Mr.Vengeance so I thought it would be decent at worst. I just love the way the movie was done. It kept me guessing until the end. Such amazement!

Today was decent. I woke up and watched Batman Begins. It had been a long time since I had seen it. Probably since I went to the IMAX theatre at the Space and Rocket Center back in March...

I got an early start on running. Perhaps too early. But I ran never-the-less. I felt pretty good afterwards like I always do. I do need some scales though to monitor my progress on weight loss. But the goal is to lose most of this fat so I guess I don't really need scales. Anyway, I went over a friend's house at 7 and watched some of a Dane Cook DVD and then attempted to introduce "Oldboy" to my friends who haven't seen it. Since someone wouldn't shut her mouth, I had to put in Shaolin Soccer to shut her up so I could atleast enjoy one movie there.

Tomorrow is probably going to be another boring Sunday. I hope to try to get into the groove of writing so I can work on my script a little.

This weekend was pretty much a total bust. Anticipating Bring Popcorn on Friday night, Brandon told me it was acutally scheduled for Saturday. Since it rained both Friday and Saturday, they wouldn't have been able to show anything anyway. So he and I watched one of my favorite movies of all time, Oldboy. For anyone reading this that hasn't seen Oldboy, you should see it. It is so well made. Even the English dubbing is great. I hope to make something as beautiful as that movie one day.

Last night was a big waste. I had agreed to record a wrestling show that a friend of mine was holding in the Fayetteville Armory. Only about 30 people showed up to watch the show and I got stiffed out of money for gas and DV tapes. Since those tapes are only an hour long, I had to use the only two tapes I had. I want a higher grade set of tapes anyway. The only money I got out of it was a measly five dollars. I doubt I'll record the next show with my XL-1s. It's just not worth the battery life, nor the gas.

Today, I should be doing some homework I've had a week to do. It's due Wensday and today is probably the most free time I'll have to do it. Hopefully I'll be able to start writing this horror/comedy script I've had in mind for the past 2 months.

I wish I wasn't such a procrastinator. Oh well...

So my car was finally completed last night. I can drive my car again! The best part is, I installed my CD player so now I'm going to be deaf in a year!
I'm pretty excited about the music returning to the inside of my car. It's been hard driving around alot with only a crappy portable CD player to listen to. You just can't get the same satisfaction out of those things than you can a car stereo.

Tomorrow night they're going to be showing Momento. That is a movie directed by Christopher Nolan (Now of Batman Begins fame). I own the movie but it is another one I have not gotten the chance to see on the big screen. Now that I have a CD player back in my car, I'll be able to sit in my car and listen to the movie!

Yes, I know my life is sad.

Thanks to Billiam for the SOAP poster!

Around this time last year, my car was broken into while I was at work being a mindless slave under the rule of Carmike Cinemas. My dash was pretty messed up and since then I haven't been able to listen to music in my car without the help of a crappy portable CD player. On that fateful day, I swore to Bob that I would avenge the brutality bestowed upon my car! Yet, I doubt I'll ever be able to do that. Those poor pieces of dog crap probably moved on to another parking lot to steal CD players and break other people's dashboards. Or they're in jail.

So recently reconstruction of my dash has begun. Acutally, it's nearly completed. I really hope that its done before Friday. Especially if they're going to play another decent movie at Bring Popcorn. I would like to have some good sound so I can hear the movie alot better.

I would have taken pictures of the mess that replacing my dash has been, but it's only a painful memory and it's going to stay just that. My poor little Corolla!

Anyway, I have to work all this week. I'm not thrilled about that but atleast I'll have a little extra money. I just hope I don't have to work as much next week. I've got to get this History project done by the 26th. Then again, I guess it wouldn't hurt if I just told them that.

So it's another day tomorrow...here we go again.

    <lj:music>Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium</lj:music>

It's been forever since I've had a livejournal account. A couple of months seems like forever anyway.

I'm finally finding some things to do during the weekend. I plan on going to Bring Popcorn every chance I get. It's pretty cool. I'm glad Squid told me about this guerilla drive-in. Friday night they showed one of my favorite movies, Bubba Ho-tep. It was a cool experience seeing it on a big "screen" aka the back of a building. I'm also glad that the people there are real nice. They didn't try to run Squid and I off for being unknown to them.

Saturday I finally went to Unclaimed Baggage with my buddy Will. I had never been there before. It's like an upper class thrift store. They had alot of cool stuff there. Some of it was expensive for missing crucial parts though. I did find something to buy from there. I found both discs of Stadium Arcadium. I am happy with that purchase. They were only $3.50 a piece. After Will and I left that place, we made our way back to Huntsville. We stopped at Madison Square 12 and watched The Protector. I must say, this movie is much better than Ong-bak. The dialogue didn't suck as much and it had more action in it. I recommend anyone go and see it if you like martial arts movies.

Today I didn't do much at all. I had another one of those "dead dreams." No, not a dream about dieing or being dead. It's just what I refer to that certain type of dream I used to have every night a while back. Luckily they're dieing down. I need better and more useful dreams.

Well, I guess when I have something to say again, I'll make a new post. Until then, good bye.
